"In August of 2009, Rudolf, surrounded Arturo DiModica’s bronze “Bull” sculpture, located in NYC with 160 cast latex flies, hoping to ground the iconic image in a familiar reality. In the summer of 2010, she has taken those same flies and placed them throughout the city of Philadelphia. With the VPAP, she hopes to continue the presence of the flies and attain positioning and scale that would otherwise be impossible."

“Virtual artwork is enticing in that some physical limitations, such as gravity and access, are removed.”
